1. Insufficient tension of hopper belt
The bucket elevator uses the friction torque between the hopper belt and the head wheel drive shaft to lift materials. The hopper belt is not tensioned enough, which will cause the hopper belt to slip.
Solution: Stop the machine immediately and adjust the tensioning device to tighten the hopper belt. If the tensioning device cannot fully tension the hopper belt, it means that the stroke of the tensioning device is too short and should be re-adjusted. The correct solution is to untie the hopper belt joint, adjust the tensioning device on the bottom wheel to the position, put the hopper belt into the hoist head, pass through the head wheel and bottom wheel, and connect it end to end, so that the hopper belt is in position. Will be tensioned but not tensioned state. Then fully tension the tensioning device. At this time, the unused tensioning stroke of the adjusting screw of the tensioning device should not be less than 50% of the full stroke.
2. The hoist is overloaded
If the bucket elevator lifts too much material, the resistance torque will increase, causing the hopper belt to slip.
Solution: At this time, the feeding amount of materials should be reduced, and the feeding should be uniform. If the slip cannot be improved even after reducing the feed amount, it may be that too much material is accumulated in the machine seat or the hopper is jammed by the material, and the machine should be shut down for inspection and troubleshooting.
3. The inner surface of the head wheel drive shaft and the hopper belt is too smooth

Solution: A layer of glue can be applied to the inner surface of the drive shaft and the hopper belt to increase the friction.
4. The bearing of the head wheel and bottom wheel does not rotate well
This situation will increase the resistance torque and cause the hopper belt to slip.
Solution: It can be disassembled and washed to refuel or replace the bearing.
